Human race seems to be rapidly approaching a phase where our civilization will produce and provide for basic needs at a cost so insignificant there will be nobody left below poverty line. We are at least couple of decades (or more) away from being near this phase. Scientific and technological breakthroughs in labs around the world have already planted seeds for this to occur. Engineering phases and free markets will take their time to evolve and package best of these seeds for human consumption.

Mankind’s political and social structures have unfortunately not evolved at the same pace and will present significant roadblocks to fruits of development reaching all parts and communities of the world. All spiritual discourses were made for a different time and era. There has been no captivating proposition or personality to repackage old discourses to bridge and adopt them to today’s realities.

While all these may sound like pipe dreams of a progressive socialist, it really should be dream of entrepreneurs, capitalists and all participants of free markets.
